Ok, here is the long story:
I am building a responsive website, so I want a convenient way to scale images:
input an image file, output a CDN URL which I can tweak to scale the image.
This is all I need, for this project no other CMS feature is needed.

looked into http://sanity.io to do this, since it offers that feature:

I registered on https://t.co/kTnbL45Oev, and discovered that I need a "project",
which I can only get by installing the CLI ...

need to initialize a project in my source code repo as well, to launch the
Sanity Studio, which I did, however, it offered me no way to upload images...
I actually needed to construct REST requests to upload pictures

... for which I need to find out my space ID, get an API key, find the files on
my computer (which I need to download first).

This is way to much plumbing, on @contentful
it's easy as 1-2-3: create space, import images (even from URLs), publish. Boom:
I have a CDN URL to the image with scaling capabilities.
