today 4,690 members) started to change the name, and to remove the "middleman"
and also to actively oust the toxic men that cling to the term.

@lizardlucas42 So yes, you are right, it's
a subculture, with some baggage, but its focus on skills (or principles of good
software design) rather than on specific languages or solutions makes it so
interesting for me.
